We had a such wonderful time in this economical hotel in Tralee. Our king room was decorated in the comfortable design. Included a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment, and a TV set, and the bed was big. The location was marvellous, within walking distance of a county museum. Set walking distance to restaurants and bars, it was a plus. The staff was attentive and we would stay here again.

The hotel offered a high-quality breakfast with plenty of choices, which kick-started our day.
The parking experience was frustrating as there was no dedicated area to load or unload luggage upon arrival.

Very personable staff. Smoking Rooms.
Little parking available that was not on the street. Bar food seemed very average.

Staff and management very friendly and accommodating of any requests made. Food in restaurant was of a good standard and plentiful. Excellent breakfast set you up for a good day out.
To all intents there was totally insufficient car parking arrangements for guests with the result that you either meter feed or walk to distance public parks. The rooms whilst clean are very small in size and this should be considered by anyone wishing to use the location as a base for longer than 2-3 days.

Stayed for two nights at this beautiful hotel. We needed to book in 4 hours earlier on short notice and the hotel was very willing to allow us to. Nothing to fault about this hotel, the only thing though is the parking issue but this is not really a problem if it is short term/weekend break. The hotel and rooms were spotless and staff very friendly. The bathrooms were so clean and there was plenty supply of toiletries and also tea and coffee. Food was delicious and staff were quick serving food etc. Definately try the Baked Alaska. There was no vegeterian menu but they were accomodating to this and did not charge full price for the dishes. I would definately recommend this hotel as we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tralee is full of one way narrow streets and being in a strange country with a strange car and also strangely driving on the other side of the road..! It took me 3 circuits of Trallee to locate the Hotel which is also on a one way street. All that being said the receptionist actually took me in the car to park and also paid the parking meter for me. I must have looked the worse for wear and she more than made up for the driving experience. Staff all very helpful all the time and we enjoyed the room, it was comfortable and quiet and enjoyed the age of the hotel. The hotel was close to all shops in Trallee and was easy to get around (minus car !) Traditional Irish breakfast was interesting but good. Value for money in all aspects.

We had some bar food and the menu was very good and the food scrumptious! Bar staff were excellent too and even put on a special song for us :P
The fact that me and my friend, who both had single rooms, were put on different floors at opposite ends of hotel. For young girls travelling together its comforting to know ur friends next door if u need her.

The service was excellent - although on our first visit the room was very small!

The location of the Grand Hotel made it easy to access local sights, dining, and transportation. My room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and a good selection of breakfast options that really hit the spot each morning. The dining area for breakfast had a great atmosphere, and I appreciated the effort from staff, especially a kind lady who took our breakfast orders with a genuine smile. Soundproofing was a concern. I could hear street noise clearly when the windows were open, which disrupted my sleep at times. On one occasion, I faced challenges getting extra amenities like water and milk. The initial response from staff was somewhat slow and confusing. Despite this, I found the staff overall friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of the common areas was up to par.
